The Voltanica Solar Storage is a modular photovoltaic (PV) energy production and storage system primarily intended for the EV charging market. Each module contains a monocrystalline PV panel, a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery and an MPPT charger, all configured in a modular mounting structure. The modules can either be wall-mounted, pole-mounted, or mounted on a guard rail or balcony railing, and with a day of solar production and storage, each module is capable of providing enough energy to give the average electric car 5 km of range. Therefore, with a 5.5 m length (10 combined modules), 50 km of range can be achieved.

Aside from its unique architectural look, this solar energy system offers an installation advantage as it does not require a rooftop, and since it can be wall-mounted, surface area can be incremented vertically as in the case of tall buildings in densely populated urban areas. Another advantage is its modularity. Modules can easily be added to any installation without the need to upscale existing components such as the battery charging electronics which are included in the self-contained modules. The only external components required are an off-grid inverter and EV charger, but these do not need upscaling when adding additional modules. In cases where EV charging is not desired, all that's needed is the inverter, and in any case grid backup is easily implemented with a simple inverter/grid commutator.
